ABOUT MS. SPRINGSTEEN
Art education is my passion. I'm so excited to share this with your students! Helping students build and improve their problem solving and creative skills is important to my teaching practice. I use a variety of teaching methods in my class to make sure that everybody feels welcome, engaged, and excited to learn.
I graduated from Kendall College of Art and Design with a Bachelor's of Fine Art in Art Education and a studio focus in Metal and Jewelry Design. I did my student internship at Pine Ridge Elementary and was awarded the National Art Education Association Pre-Service Educator of the Year for 2017 based on my time at PR. After graduation, I worked at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts and then in the Hastings School District teaching Art and Media Design. I am passionate about art education and believe that given the right tools and guidance, everybody is an artist!
